About the Animal Comparison
The animal comparison page shows two species next to each other so the differences are easy to spot. Choose a category for each side, load the animals, and the page lines up their photographs, scientific classification and conservation status in a single view.
Pick the two categories you are curious about, press compare, then swap or reroll either side until the match-up looks interesting. Comparing across groups is where it gets fun - a mammal against a mollusk, or a bird against a crustacean - because it makes the boundaries of each group obvious.
Teachers use it to introduce classification, parents use it to answer "which one is bigger?", and anyone can use it to settle how closely two animals are actually related.
